Changes to Registration of New Members

As the result of increasing numbers of attempts (by 'new' members with no interest in G3) to use the forum for 'spamming' purposes and the distribution of links containing viruses and malware, the automatic self-registration process has now been withdrawn.

If you have a genuine interest in G3 you are welcome, so don't hesitate to 'sign up'.
There will be a slight delay in account activation since your application will need to be manually checked and, if you are not registered as a member of The Gauge 3 Society (and identifiable as such from the forum name chosen by you) you will receive an e-mail asking a few additional details to verify that you are a 'bona fide' G3 enthusiast (you DO NOT have to be a Society Member to join the Forum).

It is regrettable to have to take this step but the actions of a few morons (as always) risk spoiling the enjoyment of the majority.
